# Sunoco vs Compass∞

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Compass∞ at 82% against Sunoco's 35%. Compass∞ also leads on device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 13.4). Sunoco's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and rating (4.8 vs 4.6). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Compass∞ sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Sunoco asks for nothing beyond the download.

Sunoco holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 13K and 5.1K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of Sunoco's written reviews are positive against 82% of Compass∞'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sunoco ships an update every 5 weeks, Compass∞ every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 12, 2026.
