# STONE vs Spells8

The clearest difference is rating: Spells8 at 4.8 against STONE's 4.1. Spells8 also leads on device support. STONE's advantage is review sentiment (81% vs 66%) and iOS requirement (9.2 vs 14.0). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Spells8 holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 481 and 974 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 81% of STONE's written reviews are positive against 66% of Spells8's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
