# Flight Simulator vs Dérive app

The clearest difference is price: Dérive app at Free against Flight Simulator's $1.99. Dérive app also leads on review sentiment (94% vs 85%). Flight Simulator's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 3.8) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 weeks). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Dérive app is free to download; Flight Simulator costs $1.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Flight Simulator holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.8.
