# Infinite Painter vs Drawing Pad

Infinite Painter and Drawing Pad both sit at 4.1 stars, but that hides the real split: 67% of Infinite Painter's written reviews are positive against 44% of Drawing Pad's. Drawing Pad's advantage is ratings volume (99K vs 10K). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Infinite Painter sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Drawing Pad sells 25 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Drawing Pad holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Drawing Pad has 99K ratings behind it against 10K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Infinite Painter's written reviews are positive against 44% of Drawing Pad's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Infinite Painter ships an update every 2 weeks, Drawing Pad every 6 days. Both last shipped on October 26, 2026.
