# Infinite Painter vs Clip Studio Paint for iPhone

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Infinite Painter at 67% against Clip Studio Paint for iPhone's 36%. Infinite Painter also leads on ratings volume (10K vs 1.8K) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). Clip Studio Paint for iPhone's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 4.1) and chart position (#117 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Infinite Painter sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Clip Studio Paint for iPhone sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Clip Studio Paint for iPhone holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Infinite Painter has 10K ratings behind it against 1.8K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Infinite Painter's written reviews are positive against 36% of Clip Studio Paint for iPhone's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
