# Infinite Painter vs Mimicly

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Mimicly at 100% against Infinite Painter's 67%. Infinite Painter's advantage is rating (4.1 vs 3.7) and ratings volume (10K vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Infinite Painter sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Mimicly sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Infinite Painter holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Infinite Painter has 10K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Infinite Painter's written reviews are positive against 100% of Mimicly's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
