# Bold Moves vs Jotto

The clearest difference is rating: Bold Moves at 4.5 against Jotto's 3.6. Bold Moves also leads on ratings volume (13K vs 11) and chart position (#120 vs unranked). Jotto's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bold Moves sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Jotto asks for nothing beyond the download.

Bold Moves holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bold Moves has 13K ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of Bold Moves's written reviews are positive against 58% of Jotto's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Bold Moves ships an update every 5 weeks, Jotto every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
