# H Band vs Flymatrix

The clearest difference is rating: H Band at 3.4 against Flymatrix's 2.5. H Band also leads on ratings volume (899 vs 14) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

H Band holds the better App Store score, 3.4 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: H Band has 899 ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of H Band's written reviews are positive against 27% of Flymatrix's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

H Band ships an update monthly, Flymatrix every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
