# Pyone Play vs channel 7

The clearest difference is rating: channel 7 at 5.0 against Pyone Play's 4.6. channel 7 also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.6). Pyone Play's advantage is ratings volume (26K vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 6 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

channel 7 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pyone Play has 26K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
