# BTMate vs KY FPV

The clearest difference is ratings volume: KY FPV at 361 against BTMate's 6. On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BTMate holds the better App Store score, 2.8 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: KY FPV has 361 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 18% of BTMate's written reviews are positive against 25% of KY FPV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
