# Ember vs The Archivist App

The clearest difference is rating: The Archivist App at 5.0 against Ember's 3.3. Ember's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (7.5K vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

The Archivist App holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ember has 7.5K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
