# 123Play vs Watchable

The clearest difference is rating: Watchable at 5.0 against 123Play's 3.7. Watchable also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). 123Play's advantage is ratings volume (7K vs 2). On price, update cadence, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 123Play sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Watchable asks for nothing beyond the download.

Watchable holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 123Play has 7K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 18, 2026 respectively.
