# Ominous Objects vs Enchanted Kingdom

The clearest difference is ads: Ominous Objects at none against Enchanted Kingdom's shown. Ominous Objects also leads on ratings volume (88 vs 9) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 14.0). Enchanted Kingdom's advantage is rating (4.0 vs 3.7) and monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs paid). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ominous Objects sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Enchanted Kingdom sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Enchanted Kingdom holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ominous Objects has 88 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Ominous Objects's written reviews are positive against 28% of Enchanted Kingdom's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ominous Objects ships an update every 2 weeks, Enchanted Kingdom every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
