# Doodalive vs Art Set 4

The clearest difference is rating: Art Set 4 at 4.6 against Doodalive's 4.0. Art Set 4 also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 months). Doodalive's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 63%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Doodalive sells 16 one-off in-app purchases and Art Set 4 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Art Set 4 holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Art Set 4 has 29K ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Doodalive's written reviews are positive against 63% of Art Set 4's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Doodalive ships an update every 2 months, Art Set 4 every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
