# AlarmNet 360 vs Capture VS

The clearest difference is rating: AlarmNet 360 at 4.4 against Capture VS's 2.7. AlarmNet 360 also leads on ratings volume (834 vs 9). Capture VS's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 18%) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AlarmNet 360 holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AlarmNet 360 has 834 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 18% of AlarmNet 360's written reviews are positive against 33% of Capture VS's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AlarmNet 360 ships an update every 5 months, Capture VS every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
