# Callblock vs Blocklist

The clearest difference is update cadence: Callblock at every 2 months against Blocklist's every 15 months. Callblock also leads on iOS requirement (10.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Callblock sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Blocklist sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Callblock ships an update every 2 months, Blocklist every 15 months. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
