# iNote vs Notebook

The clearest difference is rating: iNote at 4.1 against Notebook's 2.9. iNote also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 11 months) and ratings volume (2.4K vs 7). Notebook's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iNote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Notebook asks for nothing beyond the download.

iNote holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iNote has 2.4K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 49% and 50% positive.

iNote ships an update every 2 weeks, Notebook every 11 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
