# iNote vs SynaptiPulse

The clearest difference is ads: SynaptiPulse at none against iNote's shown. iNote's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.6). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iNote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and SynaptiPulse sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

iNote ships an update every 2 weeks, SynaptiPulse every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
