# Rocket.Chat vs Pumble

The clearest difference is rating: Pumble at 4.7 against Rocket.Chat's 4.4. On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Pumble holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3.7K and 1.8K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of Rocket.Chat's written reviews are positive against 55% of Pumble's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
