# SchoolTron vs Teacher Aide (cloud)

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: SchoolTron at none against Teacher Aide (cloud)'s 6. SchoolTron also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 79%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). Teacher Aide (cloud)'s advantage is update cadence (weekly vs monthly) and rating (4.8 vs 4.6). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Teacher Aide (cloud) sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. SchoolTron asks for nothing beyond the download.

Teacher Aide (cloud) holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Teacher Aide (cloud) has 45 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of SchoolTron's written reviews are positive against 79% of Teacher Aide (cloud)'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
