# EyeInCloud vs Hik

The clearest difference is rating: Hik at 5.0 against EyeInCloud's 1.7. EyeInCloud's advantage is ratings volume (6 vs 2) and iOS requirement (12.1 vs 16). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Hik holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 6 and 2 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 5% of EyeInCloud's written reviews are positive against 0% of Hik's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

EyeInCloud ships an update every 3 months, Hik every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
