# VAAC vs Lightning Tracker with Alerts

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Lightning Tracker with Alerts at 100% against VAAC's 0%. VAAC's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VAAC sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Lightning Tracker with Alerts sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
