# VAAC vs TAFHighlight

The clearest difference is update cadence: TAFHighlight at weekly against VAAC's every 11 months. VAAC's advantage is iOS requirement (9.3 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VAAC sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and TAFHighlight sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VAAC ships an update every 11 months, TAFHighlight weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
