# SpeedyBee App vs Akaso Smart

The clearest difference is rating: Akaso Smart at 4.7 against SpeedyBee App's 3.3. Akaso Smart also leads on ratings volume (1.8K vs 120) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). SpeedyBee App's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Akaso Smart holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Akaso Smart has 1.8K ratings behind it against 120, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 39% of SpeedyBee App's written reviews are positive against 36% of Akaso Smart's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SpeedyBee App ships an update every 2 weeks, Akaso Smart every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
