# WHEE Labs vs Fun Widgets

The clearest difference is rating: Fun Widgets at 4.8 against WHEE Labs's 4.0. Fun Widgets also leads on ratings volume (355 vs 4). WHEE Labs's advantage is review sentiment (85% vs 65%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WHEE Labs sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Fun Widgets sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 3 months. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fun Widgets holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fun Widgets has 355 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 85% of WHEE Labs's written reviews are positive against 65% of Fun Widgets's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

WHEE Labs ships an update fortnightly, Fun Widgets weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
