# PalGate vs AirAllow

The clearest difference is rating: AirAllow at 3.3 against PalGate's 2.7. AirAllow also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.6). PalGate's advantage is review sentiment (29% vs 0%) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AirAllow holds the better App Store score, 3.3 against 2.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 15 and 7 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of PalGate's written reviews are positive against 0% of AirAllow's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PalGate ships an update every 3 weeks, AirAllow every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
