# Complex vs Capsule Clothing Store

The clearest difference is update cadence: Complex at every 2 weeks against Capsule Clothing Store's every 6 months. Capsule Clothing Store's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (11K vs 1K). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Complex against 4.9 for Capsule Clothing Store. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Capsule Clothing Store has 11K ratings behind it against 1K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 94% of Complex's written reviews are positive against 88% of Capsule Clothing Store's.

Complex ships an update every 2 weeks, Capsule Clothing Store every 6 months. Both last shipped on October 15, 2026.
