# Complex vs Sole Retriever

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Complex at none against Sole Retriever's 6. Complex also leads on review sentiment (94% vs 74%) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). Sole Retriever's advantage is chart position (#14 vs unranked) and ratings volume (5.1K vs 1K). On price, rating, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sole Retriever sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Complex asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Complex against 4.8 for Sole Retriever.
