# Complex vs Dertbag

The clearest difference is update cadence: Complex at every 2 weeks against Dertbag's every 4 months. Complex also leads on ratings volume (1K vs 2). Dertbag's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Complex against 5.0 for Dertbag. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Complex has 1K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Complex ships an update every 2 weeks, Dertbag every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
