# Complex vs Herbarium CA

The clearest difference is update cadence: Complex at every 2 weeks against Herbarium CA's every 2 months. Complex also leads on ratings volume (1K vs 6). Herbarium CA's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Complex against 5.0 for Herbarium CA.
