# Complex vs GPRINT

The clearest difference is monetization model: GPRINT at free against Complex's free with in-app purchases. Complex's advantage is ratings volume (1K vs 6). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Complex against 5.0 for GPRINT. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Complex has 1K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 94% of Complex's written reviews are positive against 100% of GPRINT's.

Complex ships an update every 2 weeks, GPRINT weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
