# Meddys vs Lomatos

The clearest difference is update cadence: Meddys at every 2 weeks against Lomatos's every 7 months. Meddys also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (8.7K vs 8). Lomatos's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 85%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Meddys holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Meddys has 8.7K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 85% of Meddys's written reviews are positive against 100% of Lomatos's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Meddys ships an update every 2 weeks, Lomatos every 7 months. Both last shipped on November 2, 2026.
