# Meddys vs Cafe Icon

The clearest difference is ads: Meddys at none against Cafe Icon's shown. Meddys also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (8.6K vs 6). Cafe Icon's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 85%) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Meddys against 5.0 for Cafe Icon. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Meddys has 8.6K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.
