# Meddys vs Toastique

The clearest difference is update cadence: Meddys at every 2 weeks against Toastique's every 6 months. Meddys also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (8.7K vs 95). Toastique's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Meddys against 4.8 for Toastique. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Meddys has 8.7K ratings behind it against 95, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 85% of Meddys's written reviews are positive against 86% of Toastique's.

Meddys ships an update every 2 weeks, Toastique every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
