# Meddys vs Pantry Scout

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Meddys at 8.7K against Pantry Scout's 1. Pantry Scout's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Meddys against 5.0 for Pantry Scout. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Meddys has 8.7K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
