# Air Defense Command vs Air Support!

Air Defense Command and Air Support! both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 84% of Air Defense Command's written reviews are positive against 17% of Air Support!'s. Air Defense Command also leads on iOS requirement (10.0 vs 12.0). Air Support!'s advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 12 months) and ratings volume (12K vs 478). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Air Defense Command sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Air Support! sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Air Defense Command holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Air Support! has 12K ratings behind it against 478, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 84% of Air Defense Command's written reviews are positive against 17% of Air Support!'s.

Air Defense Command ships an update every 12 months, Air Support! every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
