# i vs Robyn

The clearest difference is price: Robyn at Free against i's $0.99. Robyn also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (253 vs 1). i's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 24) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Robyn is free to download; i costs $0.99 up front. Robyn sells 22 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. i asks for nothing beyond the download.

i holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Robyn has 253 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of i's written reviews are positive against 90% of Robyn's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

i ships an update every 4 months, Robyn every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
