# Stagecoach Bus vs Diamond Bus

The clearest difference is monetization model: Stagecoach Bus at free against Diamond Bus's free with in-app purchases. Stagecoach Bus also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (814 vs 21). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Stagecoach Bus holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Stagecoach Bus has 814 ratings behind it against 21, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 10% of Stagecoach Bus's written reviews are positive against 17% of Diamond Bus's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Stagecoach Bus ships an update monthly, Diamond Bus every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
