# Stagecoach Bus vs NCP

The clearest difference is monetization model: Stagecoach Bus at free against NCP's free with in-app purchases. Stagecoach Bus also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (812 vs 95). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Stagecoach Bus holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Stagecoach Bus has 812 ratings behind it against 95, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 10% of Stagecoach Bus's written reviews are positive against 12% of NCP's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Stagecoach Bus ships an update monthly, NCP every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
