# PPKP vs Santa Fighter

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Santa Fighter at none against PPKP's 3. Santa Fighter also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs monthly) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). PPKP's advantage is ratings volume (23K vs 63). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PPKP sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Santa Fighter asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for PPKP against 4.8 for Santa Fighter. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PPKP has 23K ratings behind it against 63, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 95% of PPKP's written reviews are positive against 100% of Santa Fighter's.

PPKP ships an update monthly, Santa Fighter every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
