# Smart Kid Shape vs ABC Jump

The clearest difference is monetization model: Smart Kid Shape at free with in-app purchases against ABC Jump's subscription. ABC Jump's advantage is update cadence (every 7 months vs every 38 months) and ratings volume (2K vs 90). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Smart Kid Shape sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and ABC Jump sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ABC Jump holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ABC Jump has 2K ratings behind it against 90, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Smart Kid Shape ships an update every 38 months, ABC Jump every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
