# Net TV vs Sofa Time

The clearest difference is rating: Sofa Time at 4.7 against Net TV's 2.0. Sofa Time also leads on ratings volume (2.7K vs 4) and update cadence (every 5 days vs monthly). Net TV's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 8) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sofa Time sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.29 per month. Net TV asks for nothing beyond the download.

Sofa Time holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sofa Time has 2.7K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.
