# Scooter's Coffee vs Dari Barn

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Scooter's Coffee at 71K against Dari Barn's 29. Scooter's Coffee also leads on chart position (#91 vs unranked). Dari Barn's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Scooter's Coffee against 4.9 for Dari Barn. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Scooter's Coffee has 71K ratings behind it against 29, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
