# Comet's Connection vs GRIEFBOX

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Comet's Connection at none against GRIEFBOX's 1. Comet's Connection also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 14.0). GRIEFBOX's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 29 months) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GRIEFBOX sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. Comet's Connection asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Comet's Connection against 5.0 for GRIEFBOX. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GRIEFBOX has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Comet's Connection ships an update every 29 months, GRIEFBOX every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
