# Pathstorm vs Inversion

The clearest difference is update cadence: Pathstorm at monthly against Inversion's every 2 months. Inversion's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pathstorm sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Inversion sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pathstorm ships an update monthly, Inversion every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
