# Transparency vs Alia AI

The clearest difference is rating: Alia AI at 4.5 against Transparency's 2.1. Alia AI also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.6). Transparency's advantage is review sentiment (14% vs 0%) and ratings volume (42 vs 4). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Alia AI holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Transparency has 42 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 14% of Transparency's written reviews are positive against 0% of Alia AI's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Transparency ships an update every 2 months, Alia AI every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
