# Stickymappers vs Permanent Marker Stickers

The clearest difference is rating: Stickymappers at 4.9 against Permanent Marker Stickers's 3.9. Stickymappers also leads on iOS requirement (10.0 vs 16.1). Permanent Marker Stickers's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 23 months) and review sentiment (76% vs 50%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Stickymappers holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Permanent Marker Stickers has 73 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Stickymappers's written reviews are positive against 76% of Permanent Marker Stickers's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Stickymappers ships an update every 23 months, Permanent Marker Stickers every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
