# Stapel vs Projects & Tasks

The clearest difference is update cadence: Projects & Tasks at every 2 days against Stapel's fortnightly. Projects & Tasks also leads on device support (4 vs 2). Stapel's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Stapel sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Projects & Tasks sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Stapel ships an update fortnightly, Projects & Tasks every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
