# LINC Learning vs PayDayPortal

The clearest difference is rating: LINC Learning at 2.1 against PayDayPortal's 1.9. PayDayPortal's advantage is review sentiment (28% vs 13%) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

LINC Learning holds the better App Store score, 2.1 against 1.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 156 and 186 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of LINC Learning's written reviews are positive against 28% of PayDayPortal's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

LINC Learning ships an update every 2 months, PayDayPortal monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
