# Simple BackgroundEraser vs Magic Wand

The clearest difference is rating: Simple BackgroundEraser at 4.3 against Magic Wand's 2.0. Simple BackgroundEraser also leads on ratings volume (27 vs 5). Magic Wand's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Simple BackgroundEraser sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Magic Wand asks for nothing beyond the download.

Simple BackgroundEraser holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 2.0. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of Simple BackgroundEraser's written reviews are positive against 80% of Magic Wand's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
